The Tarboro football team will play its final game of the regular season two days earlier than scheduled due to the threat of poor weather at the end of the week.

The Vikings will host South Lenoir at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. The JV game was canceled.

Tarboro (8-1) has won its past eight games, and has scored at least 41 points in each of the last seven games. The Vikings won, 42-8, over Riverside-Martin last week as their defense continues to shine.

The Vikings have allowed a combined 16 points over their past four wins, including a pair of shutouts.
