GREENVILLE — The stellar season for the Northern Nash baseball team has come to an end, just short of a trip to the final four.

The No. 5-seeded Knights (20-5 overall) couldn’t solve J.H. Rose pitcher Andrew Wallen, managing just three hits and two runs through six innings, and the top-seeded Rampants (24-3) advanced to the final four of the Class 3A playoffs with an 8-2 victory Saturday night at Guy Smith Stadium.
