Beulah Faye Wilkins Mouzon, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Born in Edgecombe County, NC on November 6, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Clifton Thomas Wilkins and Ethel Calhoun Wilkins Brown. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Samuel King Mouzon; and her daughter, Susan "Kelly" Mouzon. Beulah married her Rocky Mount Senior High school sweetheart, Sammy, and together they shared many memories throughout the years. Following many years of loyal service, she retired from Towel Town in Rocky Mount. Beulah enjoyed many activities throughout her life, but none more so than spending time with her family, dancing, and sharing her ability to sing. Known by many for her spunky attitude and personality, Beulah had a strong sense of what's right and what's wrong, and never cowered away from expressing it to others which was a trait many respected her for. A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and special friend to many, her legacy will forever live on. Beulah is survived by her son, Samuel "Allen" Mouzon and wife, Kim, of Denton; her grandchildren, Alexandra Davis Harvey, Rebecca Davis Asbill, Matthew Mouzon, Heather Mouzon, Katelyn Mouzon; her great-grandson Mason Mouzon; her sisters, Blanche Wilkins Booth and husband, Koka, of Cary and Sandra Wilkins Vickers and husband, Truman, of Elm City; and her nephews, Scott Booth and wife Penni and Chuck Booth and wife Sally. A Celebration of Beulah's Life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1130 N. Winstead Avenue, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
