A tractor-trailer driver killed the previous weekend in a fiery wreck on Interstate 95 in southern Nash County was a man from Pembroke who had been hauling potted plants, the State Highway Patrol told the Telegram.

Thomas Reeves, 57, was driving his Freightliner and Katiya Robinson, 43, of Parkton was driving her Chrysler Pacifica. Both were alone in their vehicles on northbound I-95, Trooper J.R. Lewis said Thursday over the phone.
