Police are trying to find a suspect who recently robbed the Circle K convenience store in the 200 block of North Fairview Road.

Officers at 10:19 p.m. on Sept. 12 went to the business, which is next to the Oakwood Shopping Center in the Meadowbrook area of the city.

The police report of the incident said that the suspect entered the store and fled the scene with $8 worth of beer and an unspecified amount of cash.

A backtrack of police radio traffic described the suspect as a Black man, and the radio traffic also said the suspect was wearing a checkboard style mask.

A still image of surveillance video also showed that the suspect was wearing a black T-shirt and what appeared to be dark red pants underneath black shorts.
