A South Carolina man arrested nearly 2½ years ago after Nash County Sheriff Keith Stone halted him for speeding on Interstate 95 and deputies found him to be an armed drug trafficker has been ordered to serve 20 years in federal prison, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said Thursday in a news release.

Anthony Cyquan Herring, 40, received the sentence on Wednesday in Raleigh from U.S. District Judge Terrence W. Boyle, a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office told the Telegram.
