N.C. Wesleyan College recently welcomed Jordan Stone as multimedia coordinator.

Stone has gained comprehensive multimedia and production experience over the last three years as the young adult and production pastor at Midpoint Church in Middlesex.

In his new role with Wesleyan’s Office of Marketing & Communications, Stone will provide strategy and lead the production of photography and videography needs within the department. He will plan, shoot, write, edit and produce videos and photos for use in campus-wide communication and marketing efforts in order to elevate the college’s brand and reputation.

As multimedia coordinator, he will work in collaboration with all campus constituents to provide high-quality photography, videography, audio capturing and editing skills.

“The use of video in marketing to attract and retain interest has significantly increased across all industries the last several years,” N.C. Wesleyan Director of Marketing and Communications Crystal Hill said. “Having Jordan as part of the team will allow us to improve our quality of video efforts and expand our ability to visually showcase Wesleyan.”

During his time at Midpoint Church, Stone developed extensive production experience and oversaw all stage design. He also assisted in the development and installation of sound and lighting for a newly renovated sanctuary.

In addition, he created a growing broadcast ministry which streams on multiple platforms and has a global outreach.

Stone is married to N.C. Wesleyan alumna and Director of Student Success Taylor Stone, and the two live in Wilson with their infant son and their 4-year-old German shepherd.
