Phillip Lampron will be conferred with a “Top 100 Leaders in Education’’ award for his contributions toward the field of education at the Global Foundation for Education and Learning Conference on April 21-23, 2021, in Las Vegas.
Lampron serves as the upper school principal for North East Carolina Preparatory School. He is also the founder of an educational consulting company, Lampron LLC, which focuses on improving educational opportunities in eastern North Carolina.
He has 13 years of experience in education including serving as a teacher, data coach, instructional technology facilitator, instructional coach, assistant principal and dean of academics.
Lampron graduated from UNC-Wilmington with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education while completing the North Carolina Teaching Fellows program. He later earned a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction at Arkansas State University and is currently pursuing a doctorate in educational administration and supervision at N.C. State University.
Phillip shares his passion for reforming education with his wife, Lauren. They reside with their son, Luca, in Tarboro, where they are both high school principals.
