Rising 2021 high school graduates with plans to attend a four-year college or university are being encouraged to apply for a $1,000 LSV Scholarship.

The LSV Scholarship Fund was established in 2016 to financially assist high school graduates to further their education. The organization to date has awarded 30 scholarships valued at $1,000 each.

Each year, the $1,000 scholarships are awarded to students in Edgecombe, Nash, Wilson, Pitt, Orange and Durham counties or the student must have an immediate family member who lives in one of the qualifying counties.
