In Park City, a Luxury Lodge Right Next to the Lift

Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, has a new luxury ski-in ski-out lodge. The new property, Silver Strike Lodge, completed this fall, is in the Empire Pass area, right at the base of the Silver Strike Express chairlift. It has 33 suites, with two to four bedrooms, all with kitchens, bathrooms with jetted spas, and views of Empire Pass, Deer Valley or Park City. Rates include locally baked pastries and coffee served in the morning, and on select evenings, there are free après ski tastings prepared by local chefs. The lodge also has a fitness center, a ski prep area with oversized lockers, and free on-demand transportation into Park City. Nightly rates start at $1,000 (800-541-9378; www.resortswest.com).
