It sounds

It sounds like we had an idiot who should have stayed in his car until the police arrived. (That's one of the main rules of a neighborhood block watch). On another note, when will the NAACP and 'Mr' Sharpton apologize to the Duke Lacrosse players they dragged through the mud, only to find out they were innocent???

Tustice for Travon?

Unfortunately, justice for Travon has been served. Had he chosen to not beat up a man who was carrying a legal handgun, it would have been different. Let's say Travon was alive. He would have been charged with assault and battery and possible hate crimes since his witness said he called Zimmerman a crazy a**ed cracker. Had he been convicted, these same people would be screaming "Justice for Travon" These people don't want justice, they want the victim to be put in jail. Enough is enough. How long does the Telegram and the rest of the press intend to pander to these people. Justice for Travon? He shouldn't have died but he chose his fate.

Protest over Zimmerman's acquital

The death of Trayvon is tragic, as the death of all our children. These folks protesting the verdict claim their marches are speaking out against injustice. The man had his day in court...just like O.J. Simpson. A lot of us didn't like the verdict but we moved on. Too many folks are using this event to raise old hurts and wounds again and fuel the poison of racism.....many to their own financial advantage. We all have dealt with injustices at some time or another. No one race has a monopoly on it. I've seen white folks beat down, black folk beat, Asian folk and Hispanics beat down. Many of these were good folks, some folk asked for it, some didn't. How about all the injustices done to our children that are being killed on our streets by gangbangers and gangbanger wannabes. Where are all the protesters for these children who are killed by repeat offenders who keep "getting off with a slap on the wrist" by our court systems. Where are the protesters when are daughters are raped by these same street punks who have no fear of our court systems and the victims are too scared to bring them to justice? Where are all the protesters when our grandparents are beaten and robbed because these street punks know they can't defend themselves? Check the statistics.........a lot of this is black on black crime....but where are the protesters for this injustice. The reason the self-defense laws were created was because folks of all color - red, yellow, black, and white all believed we have a right to protect ourselves, our families, and our "what little bit we own", from the punks and criminals that our Police and court system can't protect us from. In the past, folks of all color, saw the injustice of punks getting practically "getting away with murder" for the crimes they committed. Now that we have these laws, folks need to think twice before they decide to "jump up in someone's face", or try to beat someone down, kick in our house door, assault our loved ones, etc......cause if you do......you are probably gonna get shot. Nuff said!

enough

I was wondering if they could show a picture of travon shortly before he died , at the age of 17 , not at the age of 11 . I think I would been afraid of a person . whom was over 6 feet tall and close to 200 pounds . regardless of his skin color . I guess they already had issues in this neighborhood because they had a community watch program . so why would a young black man walk through a neighborhood in the dark . unless he ......
