A teen and a woman were arrested Tuesday in connection with a Monday night fight.

Elexis Shamon Mabry and Freda Precious Arrington were charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. Mabry, 18, also was served with outstanding warrants and jailed in Nash County under a $17,000 secured bond. Arrington, 40, also was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile and jailed in Nash County under a $15,000 secured bond.

Rocky Mount police said around 6 p.m. Monday on the 100 block of Lisa Court, Mabry got into an argument with a 16-year-old girl related to an incident in July involving the victim’s cousin. According to police reports, Arrington gave Mabry brass knuckles and the teen used the weapon to assault the 16-year-old girl.
