A Rocky Mount resident was charged Wednesday in connection with a fraud from her landlord.

Iesha D. Lloyd, 22, was charged with four felony obtaining property by false pretenses charges. She was issued a $5,000 secured bond.

Police said management at Housing Management Resources at 200 Parrish Court reported in January nearly $500 of fraudulent charges. Rocky Mount detectives investigated the case and reportedly tracked the fraudulent charges to Lloyd, a tenant at the victim’s apartment complex.
