A 32-year-old man is recovering after being shot during a Wednesday morning robbery.

Authorities said the victim was at his house on the 400 block of Cleveland Street when four men kicked open his door and stole his wallet. The victim told police he attempted to run away and he was shot in the leg with a handgun. He was treated and released from Nash General Hospital.
