Two wounded in shooting

Two people were wounded early Saturday morning when gunshots were fired into a home on the 300 block of East Goldleaf Street.

Authorities said a 44-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman were at the house shortly before 1 a.m. when multiple gunshots were fired at the house. The man was taken to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, where he is listed in critical condition. The woman was treated and released from Nash General Hospital.
