Police seized a gun and drugs Monday morning while responding to a complaint from a resident.

According to police reports, a concerned citizen called police around 11 a.m. to report a man walking with a gun near the intersection of Pineview Street and East Raleigh Boulevard. Officers stopped a man matching the caller’s description and found a handgun and 4.9 grams of marijuana while searching the man.

Antonio Dontego Cobb, 26, was charged with felony possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of marijuana with the intent to sell and deliver and carrying a concealed weapon. Cobb was jailed in Edgecombe County under a $15,000 secured bond.
