Nash County sheriff’s deputies arrested three more people in connection with a Jan. 27 home invasion.

Tavaris Delano Battle, 28, Tangi Sonyette Williams, 35, and Tremayne Antione Lynch, 34, were charged with three counts of first-degree kidnapping, first-degree burglary and robbery with a dangerous weapon. Battle was jailed in Nash County under a $1,764,000 secured bond. Williams, of Rocky Mount, was jailed in Nash County under a $300,000 secured bond. Whitakers resident Lynch was arrested in Maryland and is awaiting extradition to North Carolina.

Three others – Gregory Devonte Robertson, Tony Marichal Sharp and Byron Dale Whitaker – were arrested last week in connection with the home invasion.

According to police reports, the suspects forced their way into a home on the 3800 block of Old White Oak Road in Nashville. Authorities said the suspects shot a 21-year-old man twice and raped the man’s 28-year-old girlfriend. A 6-year-old girl also was in the home at the time of the attack, but was not injured.

Nash County Capt. Pat Joyner said no additional arrests are expected.
