A 17-year-old girl was charged with cutting another teen in a fight.

Rocky Mount police said officers responded around 10:30 p.m. July 3 to a fight at an apartment complex on the 100 block of Sled Court. Officers found the victim with lacerations to her face, head and arm from a knife. The suspects had fled the scene, police said. The victim was treated and released from Nash General Hospital.

Officers obtained warrants against Shykeithia Quashay Sharpe, 17, for felony aggravated assault, and she was arrested Thursday. Sharpe was held under a $10,000 secured bond.
