Police seek suspects in Branch Street shooting

A Rocky Mount man is recovering after reportedly being shot in his home early Monday morning.

Authorities said officers responded around 3 a.m. to a shooting on the 1500 block of Branch Street, where a 28-year-old man was found with gunshot wounds. He was taken to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, where his condition is unknown.

Police said the man was wounded when gunshots were fired at the house. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 977-1111 or crimestoppers@rockymountnc.gov.
