Rocky Mount police are searching for a 21-year-old man and working to identify two accomplices in a Monday night armed robbery.

According to police reports, a 21-year-old man was at an apartment complex on the 1000 block of Winston Walk when he was approached by three suspects. Police said the suspects stole a .22-caliber revolver from the victim and fled the scene.

One suspect was identified as Jerry Greene, 21, and warrants were obtained for robbery with a dangerous weapon, larceny of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a felon. Anyone with information on Greene’s whereabouts or the identity of the other two suspects is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 977-1111 or crimestoppers@rockymountnc.gov.
