Police seek suspect who wrecked restaurant

Rocky Mount police are searching for the suspect responsible for doing an estimated $2,100 in damage to a local restaurant.

According to police reports, employees at China House at 818 Harbour West Drive called police to report someone had pried open the door and ransacked the restaurant between Sunday night and Monday morning. The suspect damaged five candy machines, a camera, two cash registers, a wall, the door and a menu sign before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of money.
