Police are investigating the theft of a Rocky Mount man’s motorcycle.

Authorities said the victim left his 2001 Suzuki motorcycle strapped to a trailer for a brief time and when he came back the straps had been cut and the motorcycle was missing. Police recovered the motorcycle in a wooden area nearby.
