Police seek suspect in man's beating

Rocky Mount police have issued a warrant for the arrest of Nashville man after receiving calls about a dispute late Tuesday night.

Bryan Everette, 56, has been charged with misdemeanor counts of assault with a deadly weapon, intent to inflict serious injury and trespassing.

John Gardner, 56, of Rocky Mount, received minor wounds but did not require hospitalization after being attacked with a baseball bat at his home in the 200 block of Jackson Street.
