Police seek shoplifting suspect

Rocky Mount police are asking the public for help identifying a shoplifting suspect from Lowe’s Home Improvement.

Authorities said a man loaded two Hitachi drill impact driver sets valued at $329 each into a shopping cart then walked out of the store without paying for the tools.

The suspect is described as white male in his thirties with black hair, a mustache and goatee. The man was wearing an orange shirt, blue hooded sweatshirt with small white logo on the front, jeans and work boots. Police believe the suspect fled the store in a white Toyota Camry.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 977-1111 or crimestoppers@rockymountnc.gov. Text a tip to police at 274637 by beginning messages with RMPOL to direct the tip to the Rocky Mount Police Department and type up to 155 characters about the information.
