Rocky Mount police are asking the public for help solving several weekend shootings, including one in the parking lot of Premiere Theatre.

Authorities said an officer was working part-time inside the theater Saturday when someone told him shots were being fired outside. The officer said he saw several subjects running and found a 16-year-old man who’d been grazed by a bullet. The teen refused medical treatment, police said.

Two women were at a house around 4 a.m. Saturday on the 800 block of Sunset Avenue when someone fired multiple shots at the home, damaging three windows. Police said no one was injured.

Officers also investigated a Sunday morning shooting on the 100 block of Boyd Court. No damages or injuries were reported, and police said they believe someone fired two or three gunshots into the air.

All three shootings are under investigation. Police said detectives are investigating whether the cases are connected. No one has been charged. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 977-1111 or crimestoppers@rockymountnc.gov.
