Police seek gunmen in store robbery

No one was injured when two gunmen reportedly held up a local convenience store on Friday night.

The incident was reported around 11 p.m. at the Express Food Mart on the 600 block of Jeffreys Road. According to police reports, the suspects robbed two clerks at gunpoint and then ran into the woods behind the store with money and cigarettes stolen from the business.

One suspect is described as a black man with a thin build and medium complexion, wearing a white T-shirt. The second suspect is described as a tall black man with a medium-to-heavy build, medium complexion and wearing a black shirt.
