Police seek car theives

Rocky Mount police are investigating an incident during which two men threatened a man at gunpoint then stole his vehicle.

According to police reports, the incident happened around 10:30 p.m. Saturday when a 24-year-old man was filling his 2002 Infiniti with gas at a station on the 1300 block of West Raleigh Boulevard. The man told police he was approached by two men who threatened him with a handgun. The victim reportedly ran into the store and the suspects fled the scene in the Infiniti. The car was found Sunday by police on the 1400 block of Boone Street.

One suspect is described as a 5-foot-9 black man weighing about 175 pounds and wearing dark clothing. No description was given of the second suspect.
