Authorities are searching for a 16-year-old boy accused of shooting a man in the head with a BB gun.

According to police reports, officers responded to a call of disorderly conduct where a 46-year-old man reported he was shot in the head with a BB gun by several juveniles. The victim did not require medical attention.

Officers identified the shooter as Corleon Augustine, 16, and obtained simple assault warrants against the Rocky Mount teenager. Anyone with information on Augustine’s whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 977-1111 or crimestoppers@rockymountnc.gov.
