Rocky Mount police are investigating three vehicle break-ins that occurred Sunday night in the Dream City nightclub parking lot.

According to police reports, three vehicle owners reported someone tried to pry open the doors of their cars while parked at the club at 349 Falls Road. One of the owners reported a 27-inch television and 1000 watt amplifier had been stolen from his Honda Accord.

Authorities asked anyone with information about the break-ins to contact Crime Stoppers at 977-1111 or crimestoppers@rockymountnc.gov.

Officers also were called Monday morning to Da Boat Ryde nightclub in reference to an argument in the club’s parking lot. Laron Atkins, 36, was charged with being intoxicated and disruptive. He was released with a written promise to appear.
