Police probe early morning shooting incidents

Rocky Mount police are investigating two Friday morning shootings.

Just before 2 a.m., more than five rounds were fired at a house on the 1600 block of Bethlehem Road. Police said several people were inside the house, but no one was injured.

Police responded around 7:30 a.m. to a shooting at a house on the 600 block of South Howell Street. Authorities said several people where inside the house when bullets were fired at the house, one that went through a window. No one was injured, but there was minor damage to the house.
