Rocky Mount police are asking the public for help with the investigation of two Saturday morning commercial break-ins.
According to police reports, employees at JMS Convenient Mart at 589 E. Raleigh Blvd. called police around 9:45 a.m. about the business being broken into. Authorities said someone broke into the business and stole money, cigarettes and lottery tickets.
About 30 minutes later, police responded to a break-in at Busters Auto Repair & Recovery at 603 E. Raleigh Blvd. when the owner discovered a broken window along with keys, a diagnostic machine, laptop, radio, video camera and impact ratchet wrenches stolen.
