Rocky Mount police are investigating a break-in at Verizon Wireless sometime between Monday night and Tuesday morning.

According to police reports, someone smashed the front door then stole more than $2,000 worth of cell phones, accessories and a laptop before fleeing the scene. An employee discovered the break-in just before 9 a.m. Tuesday, but are unsure exactly what time the theft occurred.
