Rocky Mount police have arrested one suspect and are asking the public for information on others wanted in connection with an assault.

Jamar Darrnell Williams, 17, was arrested Wednesday for assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. He was issued a $10,000 unsecured bond.

Authorities said a 21-year-old man was working on a car on Aug. 28 on the 100 block of Sunshine Drive when he was approached by several men on bicycles, one of whom allegedly hit him with a gun.
