Rocky Mount police are investigating three weekend shootings, including one that wounded a teenager.
According to police reports, a 17-year-old boy was on the 800 block of Cokey Road around 5 p.m. Saturday when he was shot. The teen was taken to Nash General Hospital for treatment. Police said the suspects were male but did not release any further description.
Police also responded to reports of shots fired around 3 p.m. on Sunday and shortly after midnight Monday on the 2300 block of Hurt Drive. In both incidents, vehicles and property were damaged, but no one was wounded. Anyone with information on the incidents is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 977-1111 or email@example.com.
