A Nashville man was treated at Nash General Hospital for injuries he allegedly sustained in a Thursday night fight.

Authorities said officers responded just before 10 p.m. to the Days Inn at 1340 N. Wesleyan Boulevard to reports of multiple people fighting with pipes and bats. The suspects reportedly fled before officers arrived, but a 28-year-old man later sought care at the hospital for a laceration. Police said the victim was hit with a pipe and in the fight.

Ryan Edward Parker, 19, was charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and served with two outstanding warrants. He was issued a $2,500 secured bond.
