A Rocky Mount man is recovering after being wounded Friday in a shooting.
Authorities said a man was driving on the 1500 block of Boone Street when two suspects appeared and multiple gunshots were shot at his vehicle, including one that struck him. The victim was treated and released from Nash General Hospital. The gunmen were on foot when they fired at the vehicle and ran from the scene before police arrived.
One gunman was described as a 5-foot-6 or 5-foot-8 black man with a medium build. No description of the second suspect was released.
