A Rocky Mount man was arrested Tuesday in connection with embezzling from a local gas station.
Chad Bryant Harper, 22, was charged with felony larceny by employee. Harper was issued a $2,000 secured bond.
According to police reports, the loss prevention department of Kangaroo called police alleging a clerk at the store at 1630 Sunset Ave. embezzled more than $1,800 between October and January. Harper was taken into custody without incident.
