A 16-year-old boy was treated at Nash General Hospital early Monday morning after being assaulted by five teenagers.

Police said the victim was walking on Layola Avenue just before 2 a.m. Monday when five teens approached him and assaulted him before running away.

The suspects are described as five young black males who frequent the Stone Gate Mobile Home Park. One suspect is described as 5-foot-3 with a dark complexion and slender build wearing a blue shirt. A second suspect is described as 5-foot-5 with a medium complexion.
