Federal investigators are asking the public for help in finding a man who was in Rocky Mount a short time after a quadruple homicide in Virginia.
U.S. Marshals said a fugitive hunt is on for Alexander “Real Deal” Rosevelt Hill Jr., who is considered a person of interest in a suspicious fire on April 19 in Petersburg, Va., that uncovered the deaths of a family of four. He also is wanted for violating a protective order, providing false information to police and assault.
Hill reportedly took a taxi to Roanoke Rapids hours after the deaths then paid a man to drive him to the Amtrak Station in downtown Rocky Mount. A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to Hill’s arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call 1-877-WANTED-2.
