A Battleboro community teen was arrested Friday in connection with more than $1,000 stolen from her place of employment.
Dornetta Flortesha Johnson, 19, was charged with 11 felony counts of larceny by employee. She was issued a $3,000 secured bond.
Police said Sam’s Club security suspected Johnson of keeping customer’s membership cards and making $1,054 worth of false charges between Jan. 26 and Friday. According to police reports, gift cards, phone cards, cash advances and cigarettes were charged to members’ cards.
