A 74-year-old man turned himself in to police Tuesday in connection with an assault and theft of a gun.
Mose Earl Davis was charged with felony larceny of a firearm and misdemeanor assault on a female. He was issued a $3,000 secured bond.
Authorities said Davis and a 58-year-old female acquaintance of his got into an argument Friday at a house on the 100 block of Gary Court. According to police reports, Davis assaulted the woman and stole a .38-caliber handgun from her house before fleeing the scene.
