A 32-year-old man is in stable condition after allegedly being assaulted Sunday night on the 1000 block of Williford Street.

According to police reports, Davin Bryant was approached by four men, one of whom allegedly assaulted him with an unknown sharp object in his left side. Bryant was transported to Nash General Hospital and then transferred to Pitt County Memorial Hospital.

The four suspects were described as black males with close-cut hairstyles with light colored T-shirts and blue jeans.
