  • Annexation can help contain sprawl

    I am for annexation for a reason that is not so obvious and that is that I am against sprawl.

    As long as these people can move out beyond the city limits to avoid taxes and build, it just continues on and on and sprawls out into the country.

    There are plenty of houses within the city limits that need rehab.

  • Racism isn't the problem here

    Once upon a time, the people of Rocky Mount could be proud of their city, but being in the Top 10 on the poverty list nationwide is not something to brag about.

    We have e-police reports showing break-ins, robberies, ride-by shootings, murders and the list goes on.
