I can hardly believe someone would call into the Speak Up to complain about the reminder to watch children playing out along the city streets.

Of course children need to be taught to stay out of the street but they are not adults, they are children.

They don’t always think.

If a ball rolls out into the street, they might stop and look before they go into the street or they might not.

They are children.

Watch the children.

I would not want to have it on my conscience that I hit a child because I was not watching it for them.
