I called to say that I agree with the letter to the editor regarding the community college.
Nash County has so much debt now that it cannot afford to keep our public schools going as they should be.
I definitely will not vote for more money to be borrowed that has to be paid back when we have a community college that is quite able to take care of what it should.
This is one “no” for that vote.

With the estimated 9 million dollars that the "Slaughterhouse Five," aka: Commissioners Robbie Davis, Danny Tyson, Fred Belfield, Mary Wells, and Lou Richardson, are getting ready to vote for in incentives to lure Sanderson Farms. A proposition that has divided our county, and damaged relations with the sister county that is holding our emergency water supply. Destroying an area that could holds great possibilities, such as a Tanger Outlet. 9 million. How can we afford more! Save our taxdollars for good causes like Nash Community College.
