The recent accident that happened at the Thomas Betts Highway and Benvenue Road is a prime example of the design of the road.

Primarily it is the fact that the speed limit is so high there.

The intersection is already marked with many evidences of wrecks that have happened there by scars in the road, skid marks and debris.

The speed limit needs to be dropped.

It is currently 55 m.p.h. at the intersection and that is extremely too fast.

Let’s try to save lives by reducing the speed limit at that intersection.
