I thought it was bad enough that I know a person who has been caught for shoplifting about four times and the trial has been put off for over a year now.

Now I read in the paper that a 24-year-old man beat another man so bad that the man died and he got less than two years to serve in prison.

This is why people are so mean now.

It is because they do not punish them enough.

A man lost his life and the other man spends two years in prison.

What is wrong with our system?
