I am calling in reference to the selection of Coach Jason Battle as the new head varsity football coach at Rocky Mount High School.

I think he was a brilliant pick to lead the Gryphons team for the next few years.

His experience, his relationship with the students and their parents and his respect from the other coaches makes him a great fit.

Congratulations to the administration of Rocky Mount High School for its wise choice.
