Reader sees a reversal of roles

It’s a sad day to be a senior citizen in the country that I love so much.

Most of my life, I’ve been paying into Medicare, which is supposed to take care of me in my old age.

Over the years, the Democratic Party used scare tactics to warn senior citizens about the Republicans taking away their benefits and their rights and promising the Democrats would protect them from this.

Now it’s my turn to be an old person, and guess who has turned against the senior citizens?

They are threatening to shorten my life and restrict my health care, despite all of the money I have paid in and all the money that I am still continuing to pay in.
