Pat McCrory needs to act like the governor of North Carolina and stop acting like one of the good ol’ boys of the conservative party.
He is double-minded. He makes poor decisions and blames others for the backlash he receives.
He wants us to believe that Attorney General Roy Cooper is responsible for his latest misstep.
Cooper advised him not to sign the Voter ID bill because it would generate lawsuits, but McCrory did it anyway.
Now McCrory wants taxpayers to pay another one of his buddies to defend the state in this lawsuit. He and his conservative machine want North Carolinians to believe it is Cooper’s fault the federal government is suing our state.
This is another example of members of a political party acting like political terrorists.
McCrory doesn’t want people to vote or to get unemployment benefits they are entitled to have, but he has made sure that members of his inner circle get high-paying positions in our state government.
These people are paid with our tax dollars.
One good thing will come out of all of this confusion is that McCrory’s lack of leadership will ensure he is a one-term governor.
